INTUITIVE VISIONARY
George D’Amato, a master of setting the stage, is known for his creative excellence and attention to the finest of details. His pursuit of great design and passion for orchestrating timeless environments inspires this artful collection of Vintage Modern Decor (VMD) pillows. When not creating cushions, George teaches design and film drawing from his deep archives of directing. He’s directed a Super Bowl ad for ESPN, an Academy Awards ad for Coca-Cola starring Jennifer Lopez, a Drug-Free-America PSA featuring US Secretary of State Colin Powell, and two commercials now part of MoMA’s Permanent Collection. His portfolio also includes numerous films for top global brands such as BMW, Converse, and Nike.

At one time, a silk scarf, perhaps loosely strewn around a bejeweled neck, is now revitalized and vibrant, brought back to adorn and enhance your living or commercial space. And not surprisingly, like we humans have visible evidence of a life well-lived, VMD textiles have unique markings too. Expect the odd reminder, a nick…some fading, that your pillow is now part of this fabric’s journey. Pillows are designed and hand-crafted in North America.
